The Friends of the Lavonia Library was first established in 1996, and re-organized in March, 2004.  The Friends of the Lavonia Library has a small but active board of directors and working in conjunction with the library staff and the support of the Athens Regional Library System, the library is reaping the benefits of some much needed cosmetic improvements, and is increasing its' circulation with the purchase of more books for every area of the library.

It's easy to become a friend of the Lavonia Library, Inc.  Come by the library and fill out a membership form.  The fees are "$5.00" for individuals, "$10.00" for families, and "$50.00" for Businesses and Organizations.
